Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old. Give a real email address you can open.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password and the emails with your sign-in codes private.
• Tell us at once if you think someone else has got into your account.

What you can do with the app

• Use it for your own household and the people you choose to share with.
• Do not use it to break the law, to send people messages they do not want, to try to get into other people’s accounts, or to overload or interfere with the service.
• Only scan receipts and share lists that you are entitled to.

Your content

Your lists, items, receipts and the rest of what you put in the app stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only so we can run the app for you and the people you share with, as the privacy policy describes.

When you share a list, the people you invite can see and, depending on the role you give them, change it. Choose who you share with carefully.

Receipt reading, prices and suggestions

Receipts are read automatically and the result can be wrong. Please check the items and prices before you save a receipt. Spending figures, price changes and suggested lists are aids, built from what you enter. They are not financial advice and they may be incomplete.

There is a monthly allowance of receipt scans. You can always type a receipt in by hand.

Notifications and email

We send sign-in codes, invitations, security notices and the link to download your data by email, and notifications and reminders to your phone if you allow them. You can switch notifications off in Settings.

Availability

We work to keep Zocery running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change or stop features. If we ever stop the app, we will give notice and a way to take your data with you.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings; see the account deletion page for what that removes. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or harms others, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us.

Our responsibility

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Hamzah Qureshi is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by something outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes and the law

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
